This handcrafted original collectable miniature elephant is only 3“ tall, fully cotter pin jointed and made using the finest German Schulte mohair. She has been plucked and shaded to give her a well aged look.
(I can always add a tiny ‘made with love’, key or good luck charm if you request it.)
During the First World War miniature bears were given to the soldiers as they went off to fight. They represented the love of those closest to them and the hope that they would bring the soldiers home safely.
My bears and other animals follow this tradition. If you or someone you love is leaving home, going on a journey or even sitting exams keep one of my bears close to you and you will always be reminded of family, friends and happy times.
I always use the finest materials including German mohair, Schulte viscose and hand blown glass eyes. Each bear is fully cotter pin jointed, filled with kapok, a traditional stuffing for bears, and given a lovely weighty feel with lead shot. They are then painted and waxed to give them all a well loved look as well as plenty of individual character.
These are not toys and therefore are not suitable for children under 14 years.
